In the Pagoeta Natural Park, experience the balance between the natural and human environments. The area was declared a natural park on 29th September 1998. Most of its 2,860 hectares are located in the municipality of Aia, with the remainder between Zarautz and Zestoa. It’s named after Pagoeta, a hill rising 678 metres above sea level.

It’s a good idea to stop in at the Iturraran Parketxe (an interpretation centre) to get the help and information you need. From there, let your own tastes dictate whether you want to visit exhibitions, experience nature, discover our heritage or go on a hike.
